Hi! My name is Tracy Law, and I was born and raised in Chinatown. I’m currently a junior in college and have been a tour guide for almost 5 years, sharing the hidden gems and rich culture of my hometown. As a huge foodie, I love everything from discovering local spots to enjoying well-known culinary favorites. When I’m not out trying new foods, I love going on adventures or watching nostalgic movies and TV shows.
Hi my name is Phoebe Fong and I am a 4th year in college. I’ve been a tour guide since 2019. I like giving tours for people to have more insight about the Chinatown they may not read in textbooks. I joined CATs for the community and leadership experience. Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym and hanging out with friends. My future goals is to find ways to give back to my community by actively participating in events. One thing about me is I love to travel and try out new food.
Hello, my name is Timothy Jue. I was born and raised in San Francisco, and I am a second year in college majoring in Business Management. I have been a tour guide for Chinatown Alleyway Tours for two years now and enjoy the conversations that I get to have with everyone who comes on a tour. Outside of school and being a tour guide, I really enjoy traveling and trying new foods. One of my long term goals is to visit every country in the world.

I really enjoy being able to share the history of the community I grew up in and that is also why I joined CATs. Outside of that, I really enjoy painting and crafting. Hello! My name is Viana and I am currently a senior in high school. I was born and raised in San Francisco. Although I didn't grow up in Chinatown, my parents would always bring to Chinatown to go grocery shopping on the weekends, where I became fascinated by the neighborhood. I have been a tour guide for a year now, and I really enjoy being able to talk to people from all around the world and people who share the same passion for Asian American history. I mainly joined CATs because I wanted to learn more about the history of my background. One fun fact about me is that I love to dance! I mainly do ballet, but I often try out new styles of dance.
Hey there! My name is Kaiyi Chen, I am currently a senior in high school and I was raised here in San Francisco. I am excited to be a new tour guide intern here at CATS. My name is Kelvin Lim. I'm a senior in high school. I grew up in Myanmar and recently moved to San Francisco. I’ve been learning English since I was like 6 or 7 so I’m fluent in both Burmese and English. I joined CATs to learn more about the history of Chinese Immigrants as one myself. I also hope to improve my public speaking skills by giving tours to people interested in the history of Chinatown. Outside of school, I love hanging out with my friends and being a part of Adopt An Alleyway.
Hi! My name is Maggie Li, a freshman in college. I’ve recently joined CATs as a tour guide intern and I am so excited to share the meaningful stories of Chinatown. I was born and raised in San Francisco and I spent half of my childhood growing up in Chinatown. But now, you’ll probably catch me outside at Santa Cruz enjoying all the fresh air and wildlife! When I have time, I will be in the kitchen baking sweet treats for my family and friends to devour. A goal I have for this year is to win Mah Jongg 5x in a row!

Hello! My name is Joyce Ye, and I am a senior in high school. Born and raised in San Francisco, I enjoy discovering hidden spots around the city and sharing them with others, as there’s always something new to see! This is my first year as a Tour Guide Intern, and I’m excited to share the beauty and history of Chinatown while continuing to learn more myself. Outside of school and touring, I’m a big matcha connoisseur who loves exploring new cafes- but ironically, my goal this year is to cut back on my matcha spending!
