To qualify for "in-person" price, reserve online (at least 48 hours before the tour) and choose "pay later" at the payment page. Please pay in cash or check on the day of the tour.

Prices listed on the left are before processing fees (2.75. We only accept credit cards for online payment. 
Payment for the tours are non-refundable. However, you have the option to reschedule.
Private Tours
If you have a group of 8 or more or are interested in having a private tour, please submit a reservation request and ask about our private/group tours.

Cancellation
Please cancel a reserved tour at least 48 hours in advance. Note: We reserve the right to cancel during rainy reasons. However, we will always call to see if individuals would still like to have a tour if the rain is light.


If you pay online, cancellations at least one week in advance of the tour will be fully refunded to the original payment method. If you cancel within one week of the tour, we offer the option of rescheduling your tour for free. If you have an emergency and cannot make the tour, please contact us (email is the best) and we will do our best to work out a solution.

Location
Tours start on the upper level of Portsmouth Square (near Washington and Kearny), across from the Hilton Hotel’s bridge and near the elevators to the Portsmouth Square Garage. Look for tour guides in gray Chinatown Alleyway Tours sweatshirts or gray Chinatown Alleyway Tours T-shirts.

Directions
  • By BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit): Get off at Montgomery Street Station and walk toward Kearny and Clay Streets.
  • By Bus: Take the 8 bus line going toward Chinatown; get off at Clay Street.
  • By Car: Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood or at local garages such as the Portsmouth Square or St. Mary’s garages. We recommend Park and Ride.
We suggest public transportation, as parking can be difficult.
